History
1995 - Founded in Hamilton. Founding Trustees:
Mary Kay Palmer / John McIntosh / Des Chia
1996 - Changed name from New Pathways to New Progress Enterprises
1997 - Services expanded into Te Kuiti, Huntly and Taumarunui
1998 - Services commenced in Tokoroa and Taupo
1999 - Anti-discrimination and Destigmatisation service (Like Minds Like Mine) commenced
2000 - Recovery education and planning pilot established
2001 - Worked in partnership with communities to create consumer run community services
2001 - Established services in Taranaki
2003 - Recovery pilot expanded to cover intersectorial training
2004 - Founder, Kay Palmer, passed away
2004 - Karen Covell employed as General Manager
2004 - Opened T.R.E.E Nursery at Hopu Hopu
2005 - Celebrated 10th anniversary
2005/6 - Underwent a series of audits on Consumer Support Services agreement, through which a stronger, more robust organisation emerged
2006 - Began trading as Progress to Health
2007 - Karen Covell became Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Progress to Health
2007 - Established a Transition from School Service
2007 - Established a Life Skills Programme in New Plymouth and Hawera
